Laundry Money

Throughout my freshman year of college, I have spent over $150 in laundry money. That doesn't even include the loads of laundry that I have had to dry multiple times because sometimes the dryers don't work. That's not including the money spent on laundry soap, spray 'n' wash, or dryer sheets. This is not including all of the laundry that I brought home each break to do, so I wouldn't have to pay a pretty penny. I'm not even going to mention those fabric fireworks that make my clothes soft and smell really good, because my college budget does not allow for that. That is a special perk I get only when I do my laundry at Grandma's house. While most of the time, I end up hanging a majority of my clothes on a drying rack, laundry is still expensive. Before, I had a laundry card and it only took $5 bills. Now, the machines only take quarters. Fun fact: every time I go to Aldi's I make at least 75 cents in quarters, from the carts. All of that change goes straight into my laundry money jar. A positive light, at least I don't have a water bill to pay.
