Serene Soldiers

Not everyone is prepared for battle. There is always a battle. It's just one of those feelings. Either you know it, or you don't. Like when the sun shines so bright it hits you. Hard. Or how your skin gets so hot, you feel like there are tiny soldiers shooting tiny, little, bullets all over your body. Even when you try to run away from those soldiers, they burn the bottom of your feet as you run to a chilly spot. After that the cool sensation rushes over your feet and you are only left with debris from the tiny soldier's attack. Finally you fall back into a burst of matter. Pushing it away all at once. You begin to rise. Just until your nose is sticking out of the water. You breathe, eyes closed. You are sitting there for what feels like hours, before you open your eyes. It has only been a few minutes. The same song is still playing. You ended the serenity filled peace and welcomed the chaos with open arms. The tiny soldiers stare you down. You sigh in defeat because you know in order to go, you must face the soldiers once more.
