Earth plays. Earth is interrupted by Fireflies by Owl City. In front of us we see what could be hundreds of lightning bugs dancing to the beat of the song. As we turn the lightning bugs continue and they are all around us in the grass, bushes, and trees. They are the light in the dark. My gaze rises from the beautiful dancing bugs to the stars. The stars where I'm from, do not shine nearly half as bright because of all the artificial lightning. But here, tonight, the stars glow. They smile down at us and it is simply breathtaking. As we continue to walk down the path and across the bridge, we stop to listen. We hear the croaking of a frog. We hear the trickle of lake water.
"Shhh"
"Listen"
"What are we listening to?"
"Nature."

We stopped. We listened. We heard.
