When I think of Grandpa

When I think of you, Grandpa, a million things come to mind.
I think about how you are always the first one to laugh at all my jokes.
I think about how no matter what it is, you always know how to fix literally everything.
I think about how you know the answer to every question.
I think about your laugh, and the way the corners of your eyes get all wrinkly when you smile.
I think about our memories.
Racing to the car, or the front door,
or the time we had a car picnic in your and grandma's spot,
or the time we drove to Wisconsin and I was falling asleep, so you stuck your finger in my ear and said "shotgun can't sleep".
I think about the time I got a toy for Christmas that would put beads in my hair, and you let me test it out in your beard.
I think about how you and Grandma always support me,
from tee ball, to soft-ball, cheer and water-polo, improv, plays, and musicals you're always there, and with a smile.
I think about our inside jokes.
Peculated
Beef
Brawn
or how I know you always go the extra mile,
(like to Krispy Kreme)
But my favorite thing to think about you, is your hugs. You give the best hugs. It's like you put all your love in every hug you give me. So when I come home from college, or for breaks, or whenever I see you, I just can't wait for that hug.
I love you so much Grandpa. Thank you for always being there for me, and for being the best father figure a girl could ask for.
